The benefits of cypress wood
White cypress is a highly durable Australian softwood timber, ideally suited to exposed and high-wear applications such as house framing and cladding, flooring and fencing. White cypress is a highly durable Australian softwood timber species. It is readily available throughout Australia.
Australian cypress wood is highly resistant to rotting as well as infestation. This is due to the natural oils working as a repellent to bugs and other critters. The longevity of the timber comes down to the natural oil creating a resistance within the wood. Cypress timber is easy to maintain and looks great – it’s the perfect wood for the Australian home!
